Roun robin tests are now set out for the recognized test labs to ensure that all critical aspects of consistency in testing are assessed (CertAlarm Rules R-04).
Every year, several samples are supplied to the RTL partners so as to check the continued consistency of their test results .
By a letter dated 17 February 2011, EA confirmed the status of CERTALARM within EA.
Following the consultation within the Certification Committee in 2009, the European co-operation for Accreditation made the positive decision to accept CERTALARM as a Scheme covered by the EA MLA.

For the fire and security products, industry can now apply for the CertAlarm Quality Mark, the only mark endorsed by the European Co-operation for Accreditation.
