Euralarm round table debate on EN 50131-1 revision

News:

The European requirements related to the Intruder and Hold-up Systems (I&HAS) are covered by the EN 50131 series. The  system  requirements  in part one  are the foundation for all other standards in this range which cover the different  parts of an I&HAS system.
The EN 50131-1, which has been the base of this series for a long time, is now under review for an update to include new technologies and market requirements. That is why Euralarm, the European Trade Association for the fire safety and security industry and a longtime member of CertAlarm, invites their members and other stakeholders from the security industry to participate in a round table debate on the upcoming revision. The event is planned to take place on 4th of February 2020, from 10am - 12:30pm in Brussels with a lunch to follow. The objective of the debate is to discuss how the new technologies can be included in the standard and to ensure that the standard stays relevant for end-users, alarm response, insurance companies and for our industry. Euralarm also invites the round table participants to attend the afternoon’s Members Section Meeting taking place after lunch, providing an opportunity to exchange information on other current topics in the Security and Fire sectors.
If you would like to attend this event please send an email to the Euralarm secretariat before the 24th of January (secretariat@euralarm.org).
